How to choose an online tutor for your goals

The right tutor should fit both the subject you are studying and the way you need to learn it. Compare curriculum experience, teaching levels and availability before choosing a profile. School homework support, exam revision and long-term subject learning may call for different lesson plans.

For an introductory conversation, bring a recent assignment or a question you could not complete. Ask how the tutor would explain the difficult step, choose practice questions and review your progress. This gives you a more useful basis for choosing than a broad promise of better marks.

Check the current rate, lesson arrangements and booking details on the tutor’s profile. If you need help narrowing the options, share your learning requirements when booking a demo.
