JEE Main chapter-wise PYQ practice

Plan JEE Main revision by chapter. Explore OziPrep practice, try a worked physics example and learn how to review previous-year questions.

Start with one chapter, then test mixed topics

Choose Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics in the practice bank, then select the available chapter. Attempt a small set before checking the answer. Record whether each error came from a missing concept, calculation or time pressure.

Use chapter-wise practice to repair a weak topic. Return to mixed-topic papers afterwards so you can practise deciding which method to use without a chapter label.

A revision plan for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

Physics: write the known quantities and units before choosing an equation. Chemistry: separate recall errors from errors in reasoning or calculation. Mathematics: compare your method with the solution and retry the problem without looking at the steps.

Check the year and exam label on available previous-year questions. An original practice question is useful for revision, but it is not evidence that the question appeared in a JEE paper.

Worked Physics example: constant acceleration

Original practice example, not an official PYQ: a body starts from rest with constant acceleration of 2 m/s². How far does it travel in 3 seconds?

Using s = ut + ½at², with u = 0, a = 2 and t = 3, the distance is 9 metres. A common mistake is to calculate final velocity, 6 m/s, instead of distance.

JEE chapter-wise practice or a full mock test?

Choose chapter-wise practice when you want to revisit a particular topic. Use a full-length mock when you need to practise switching between subjects and managing time across the paper. Check the exam, year, included subjects and instructions before starting; these formats should not be compared as equivalent tests.

After practice, note whether the difficulty was understanding a concept, choosing a method, carrying out a calculation or managing time. Revise one recurring difficulty and try fresh practice before judging progress. A practice result is not an official percentile or admission prediction.
